H. E. Milutin Stanojevic, Ambassador of the Republic of Serbia to the State of Israel, this Monday, 1st of August, held a lecture at the Institute for Holocaust "Shem Olam." On that occasion he had a long conversation with the director of the Institute Rabbi Avraham Krieger. The initiative for the meeting and lecture is the result of a very good cooperation between the Embassy and the Ambassador with Professor Gideon Greif, chief historian of the Institute and former " Yad Vashem" researcher.

In a lecture on the Holocaust and genocide, before prominent members of the Institute "Shem Olam", Ambassador Milutin Stanojevic pointed out the connection and friendship among Serbian and Jewish people, dating from the most difficult historical moments, and also shared responsibility in countering the attempts of audit and erasing of the history, as well as equalizing criminals and victims.

On the same occasion , Ambassador handed a gift book "From cradle to Jasenovac" to Rabbi A. Krieger.
