Organized by the International School of the Holocaust Studies of Yad Vashem in Jerusalem a week long seminar was opened on July 21, 2019 for a group of 25 educators from Serbia. This is the eleventh annual seminar for the participants from Serbia organized in the cooperation between the Ministry of Education, Science and Technological Development of Serbia and Yad Vashem.

Participants were welcomed by the Director of the Department for Europe of the Yad Vashem International School Ms. Richelle Budd Caplan and by the Head of the Balkans Section of the school Ms. Lia Miha, as well as the Ambassador Mr. Milutin Stanojevic.

In his address Ambassador Stanojevic thanked the hosts for organizing the seminar and hailed the endeavors by the Ministry of Education, Science and Technological Development of Serbia, pointing out the importance of this activity within the scope of the cooperation of the two countries.
